Chamberstick with Sèvres porcelain lampshade

Exceptional "BOUGEOIR" with Sèvres porcelain lampshade and finely sculpted and mercury-gilded bronzes. Round base decorated with an intertwined frieze and porcelain plaque painted with a floral garland surrounded by a stylized crown with intertwined golden bands. Small lampshade with green floral decoration and salmon-colored border with golden decoration, as well as a gilt bronze frame in the shape of two snakes. The lampshade is adjustable in height and is mounted on a square stem, with a small handle for transport at the bottom is decorated with a gilt bronze snail. France. Period: Empire. HxD: 22x8.5 cm.
